About Dan
Dan Michaluk is a lawyer who supports organizations on a range of cybersecurity matters. His work includes governance, risk and compliance engagements, incident response (or “breach coaching) and litigation that involves both defending organizations and litigating to recover stolen data.
Stories from a Breach Coach
Dan will give a first hand account of the real workings of incident response from the perspective of a lawyer and breach coach who is engaged regularly to respond to ransomware incidents, business e-mail compromises and other security and privacy problems. We’ll go from T=0, through to threat actor dealings, recovery and data analysis challenges and on to closing the file and moving on.
